Fav24.- Después de dos años de descanso, anuncian que comenzarán a trabajar en un próximo CD en septiembre. El portavoz de la noticia ha sido el bajista de los Peppers, Chad Smith. En una entrevista reciente para la revista "Billboard", ha confirmado que ya era hora de retomar las cosas y volver a grabar: "Estamos preparados, haremos muchas improvisaciones y jams, y las canciones irán saliendo de ahí".

Los Red Hot Chili Peppers se separaron en el año 2005. En principio anunciaron una separación de 12 meses, pero se extendió hasta ahora. Su último álbum "Stadium Arcadium" fue el que les sirvió para despedirse de todos sus fans durante su gira.
